Terms of use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Using EditIris

EditIris is a browser extension and a website for editing pictures on your own device. You may use it for any lawful purpose. Your pictures stay yours, and we claim no rights over them.

Accounts

You need a free account for the AI tools, and for Pro, for sync and for your invite link. Editing, converting and cropping work without one. Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and each plan has a limit on signed-in devices.

Free and Pro

The Free plan includes the core tools, a daily number of runs of each AI tool and a limit on pictures per batch. Pro removes those limits and adds page capture, finding images and synced presets. The current limits and prices are shown on the home page and may change for new purchases.

Payments and renewal

Paddle processes all payments. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Fair use

Please do not try to get around the plan limits: making many accounts for one person, using temporary email addresses, or changing the extension's code. We may close such accounts, without a refund. Please also do not share one account between many people, or use the service to harm others or to break the law.

Third-party software

EditIris includes open-source components and AI models under their own licences. The list is in the extension's notices file.

No warranty and limits of liability

The service is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or available. Keep a copy of important pictures. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will announce it under What's new before it applies.
